EconAqua low pressure water mist system
EconAqua is our low pressure water mist system for protecting commercial buildings such as hotels, offices and car parks. It is very similar to a sprinkler system but uses up to 85% less water.
Viking’s low pressure water mist technology combines the benefits of sprinkler protection with those of the water- and space-saving aspects of low pressure water mist systems.

Benefits over high pressure water mist solutions
EconAqua low pressure water mist systems compared to high pressure water mist systems
- An EconAqua low pressure system requires the same amount of water as a similar approved high pressure alternative
- Pump drivers require lower electrical loads
- Concealed heads available with colour options (especially useful for offices, hotels & hospitals)
- Dry systems available for un-heated zones (which can be found in hotels & car parks)
- No risk of high pressure components failing within public areas such as hotels, above work areas in offices or above parked vehicles in car parks
- Same potable water supply can be used as with the incoming water services
- No need for expensive stainless steel pipework and fittings
- Pipework generally pressurized under 16 bar, not 100+ bar
