60 US Gallon Foam Hose Station The foam hose station is a self-contained unit that uses the water flow to induct foam concentrate into the water stream. The fixed unit is intended to flow at a minimum rate of 60 GPM for a minimum of 30 minutes and is used in aircraft hangars, helidecks, offshore processing, storage or handling areas where the rapid control of fires involving ignitable liquids is required. The unit is constructed in such a manner that one competent person may operate it with the speed and effectiveness necessary in an emergency. The performance of the eductor (foam mixing device) requires a defined flow and pressure for optimum operation.
