En retirant, r\u00e9duisant ou s\u00e9parant ces composants, un incendie peut \u00eatre contr\u00f4l\u00e9 ou \u00e9teint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:600;line-height:1.2\">D\u00e9finitions&nbsp;:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-base-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:1.7\"><strong>Carburant<\/strong>&nbsp;: Il peut s&#8217;agir de n&#8217;importe quel type de mat\u00e9riau combustible, comme le papier, le bois, l&#8217;huile, les tissus, etc. Certains mat\u00e9riaux br\u00fblent plus facilement que d&#8217;autres.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-base-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:1.7\"><strong>Chaleur<\/strong>&nbsp;: Une source de chaleur est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement responsable de l&#8217;allumage initial du feu. Tous les feux ne br\u00fblent pas \u00e0 la m\u00eame temp\u00e9rature &#8211; les diff\u00e9rents mat\u00e9riaux offrent des quantit\u00e9s de chaleur diff\u00e9rentes. Les r\u00e9actions de combustion produisent \u00e9galement de la chaleur en br\u00fblant, ce qui augmente encore la temp\u00e9rature et, par cons\u00e9quent, entretient le feu et lui permet de se propager davantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-base-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:1.7\"><strong>Oxyg\u00e8ne<\/strong>&nbsp;: L&#8217;air normal contient 21&nbsp;% d&#8217;oxyg\u00e8ne. La plupart des feux n\u00e9cessitent une teneur en oxyg\u00e8ne d&#8217;au moins 16&nbsp;% pour br\u00fbler. Les processus chimiques qui se produisent lors d&#8217;un incendie sont soutenus par l&#8217;oxyg\u00e8ne. Lorsque le combustible br\u00fble, il r\u00e9agit avec l&#8217;oxyg\u00e8ne de l&#8217;air ambiant, d\u00e9gageant de la chaleur et g\u00e9n\u00e9rant des produits de combustion (gaz, fum\u00e9es, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-base-font-size\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;padding-top:20px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:1.3\">Le type d&#8217;incendie et le syst\u00e8me de protection contre les incendies ou l&#8217;\u00e9quipement de lutte contre les incendies disponibles d\u00e9terminent l&#8217;\u00e9l\u00e9ment du triangle de feu qui doit \u00eatre cibl\u00e9 pour \u00e9teindre l&#8217;incendie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-base-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:1.3\">Le brouillard d&#8217;eau a g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement un effet sur deux des trois c\u00f4t\u00e9s du triangle du feu&nbsp;: la chaleur et l&#8217;oxyg\u00e8ne. La premi\u00e8re a \u00e9t\u00e9 la mise en \u0153uvre du protocole de Montr\u00e9al sur les \u00ab&nbsp;substances qui appauvrissent la couche d&#8217;ozone&nbsp;\u00bb \u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 1980, qui a conduit \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9limination progressive du halon, un agent chimique d&#8217;extinction des incendies \u00e0 base de brome qui \u00e9tait largement utilis\u00e9 jusqu&#8217;alors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-base-font-size\" style=\"padding-top:0px;padding-bottom:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:1.3\">Le deuxi\u00e8me incident est un incendie d\u00e9vastateur sur le ferry de passagers \u00ab&nbsp;Scandinavian Star&nbsp;\u00bb dans la matin\u00e9e du 7&nbsp;avril&nbsp;1990, o\u00f9 pr\u00e8s de 50&nbsp;% des passagers ont trouv\u00e9 la mort. Cette catastrophe a conduit \u00e0 une am\u00e9lioration des exigences de l&#8217;Organisation maritime internationale (OMI) en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 contre les incendies et des directives d&#8217;installation, ainsi que des proc\u00e9dures d&#8217;essai au feu pour les syst\u00e8mes d&#8217;extinction automatique alternatifs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-has-link has-base-font-size\" style=\"padding-top:0px;padding-bottom:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:1.3\">Aujourd&#8217;hui, les<strong>&nbsp;solutions terrestres de brouillard d&#8217;eau<\/strong>&nbsp;con\u00e7ues conform\u00e9ment aux normes EN 14972, VdS 3188, FM 4-2 &amp;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nfpa.org\/codes-and-standards\/nfpa-750-standard-development\/750\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NFPA 750<\/a>&nbsp;<strong>sont d\u00e9sormais reconnues comme des solutions de protection contre divers risques.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-base-font-size\" style=\"padding-top:0px;padding-bottom:0px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:1.3\">Pour relever les d\u00e9fis auxquels est confront\u00e9 l&#8217;environnement b\u00e2ti moderne et existant, il faut adopter une approche \u00e0 multiples facettes englobant la technologie, la durabilit\u00e9, la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et la satisfaction des exigences du client.
