La haute capacit\u00e9 de liaison thermique du dioxyde de carbone entra\u00eene un retrait d&#8217;\u00e9nergie de la source du feu, ce qui renforce l&#8217;effet extincteur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-base-font-size\" style=\"margin-bottom:24px;line-height:1.3\">Les syst\u00e8mes d&#8217;extinction au dioxyde de carbone, en raison des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s particuli\u00e8res de leur agent extincteur, pr\u00e9sentent des avantages par rapport \u00e0 d&#8217;autres syst\u00e8mes d&#8217;extinction \u00e0 gaz inertes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-base-font-size\" style=\"margin-bottom:24px;line-height:1.3\">M\u00eame les fournitures dans une pi\u00e8ce peuvent \u00eatre prot\u00e9g\u00e9s. Le dioxyde de carbone liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9 forme un \u00e9pais nuage de gaz extincteur dans la zone d&#8217;inondation. Le dioxyde de carbone peut \u00eatre nocif pour la vie, \u00e0 des concentrations capables d&#8217;\u00e9teindre des incendies, c&#8217;est pourquoi des mesures de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sp\u00e9ciales sont install\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-base-font-size\" style=\"margin-bottom:0;line-height:1.3\">Le processus d&#8217;extinction ne d\u00e9marre qu&#8217;apr\u00e8s un d\u00e9lai d&#8217;avertissement pr\u00e9d\u00e9termin\u00e9, afin de laisser suffisamment de temps pour quitter la pi\u00e8ce.
