Viking EMEA employs approximately 200 people and has distribution centers in Luxembourg (headquarters), Germany, Sweden, the UK, Italy, Spain, Romania and Turkey. Several local offices in Poland, the Netherlands, and Dubai complete the network of our presence in the EMEA region.<\/p>\n\n<p>Due to continued growth and market development, we are searching for an Experienced Technical Customer Service Representative for the Nordic market to join our motivated team in Sollentuna (Sweden).<\/p>\n\n<p>In this varied and interesting role, you will be responsible for the first customer contacts, so you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service as a tool to sustain our growth. You provide our clients with excellent support and full solution. Thanks to your commercial attitude and technical knowledge, you will enhance sales over the phone. You manage and follow up the end-to-end process, from product selection, quoting, sales order entry up to the delivery of materials.<\/p>\n\n<p>Your commercial skills and proven records of accomplishment as customer service are keys to make you becoming the first Viking point of contact with our customers, while building the day-to-day relationship with them. The role could develop further into customer management of a selected portfolio. Even if this role remains office based, it may involve occasional customer visits.<\/p>\n\n\n\t\t\t<div id=\"group1\" class=\"wp-block-group is-style-text-careers is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-bc168b4b wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--32-20);padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0px;padding-left:0\"><h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">You will have the following duties:<\/h1>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Understand and convert customer requirement into product code or Bill of Material (product understanding is required for this activity);<\/li><li>Prepare and follow up quotes based on pricing guidelines from the commercial team, with the authority (within company rules) to close sales and maximize quote conversion;<\/li><li>Cooperate closely with the credit department, to ensure a reliable order fulfilment;<\/li><li>Process and follow up incoming orders;<\/li><li>Maximize sales by proactively provide customers with product and service information to influence decision making;<\/li><li>Provide customers with price, lead time, product information, technical documents etc.;<\/li><li>Liaise with replenishment team and occasionally with suppliers in case of drop shipments;<\/li><li>Coordinate shipment to customers \u2013 Liaise with the warehouse\/ carrier if necessary;<\/li><li>Check daily reports and act accordingly;<\/li><li>Additional tasks upon request from the Local Operations Manager.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div id=\"group2\" class=\"wp-block-group is-style-text-careers is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-bc168b4b wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--32-20);padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0px;padding-left:0\"><h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Reporting line:<\/h1>\n\n<p>You will report to the Local Operations Manager, also based in Sollentuna.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div id=\"group3\" class=\"wp-block-group is-style-text-careers is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-bc168b4b wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--32-20);padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0px;padding-left:0\"><h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Qualifications and experience:<\/h1>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This position requires experience 5+ years in a commercial or customer service environment (ideally B-to-B);<\/li><li>You have a technical background or experience;<\/li><li>You have excellent administrative skills and some technical knowledge (construction or plumbing industry experience is an advantage); some knowledge about international trade (import\/export) would be an advantage;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ease with phone communication (quote follow up, direct approach with prospects);<\/li><li>You have an excellent command of Swedish and English, any additional language (Finish, Norwegian) is an asset;<\/li><li>You have a good knowledge and experience with IT tools (Office suite and modern ERP\u2019s); SAP experience is an advantage;<\/li><li>You have strong verbal and written communication skills and you are a good team player;<\/li><li>You are an easy learner, a dynamic and agile multi-tasker and enjoy the challenges of a busy office environment.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div id=\"group4\" class=\"wp-block-group is-style-text-careers is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-bc168b4b wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--32-20);padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0px;padding-left:0\"><h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Our offer:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n<p><strong>Stable company<\/strong>: for over\u00a0three decades, our company has stood the test of time, weathering economic shifts, technological revolutions, and industry changes.
